The Sacrificial Altar, OOC

For out of game talk, opinions, comments and questions.
I like the clean game threads so please put all OOC stuff here.

Some notes on how this game will be conducted:

Everyone will have short prologue. Please do not read the prologue you are not involved with.

Please use SQUAT to create characters.

I'll do all the rolls to keep things smooth unless I deem it important for the player to make a roll.
Rolls will be presented in game in following format:

For speech please use "yellow"
For thoughts please use gray
For flashbacks please use flashback text

Let me know if you will be away for a longer period of time or if you are droping the game.

Leveling up characters will be available once certain story milestones are reached. As a special reward for good role playing, game attendance etc. you'll be able to raise skill ranks of certain skills for free or get rid of some flaws.

First Post... :P

So what do we need? Off hand, I noticed a void to be filled as Doctor and as someone who's familiar with Computers. Is there anything else I missed?

There are no party prequisites for the game. Just create character you'll enjoy playing and I'll take care of the rest. I have created bare bones of the scenario and blood, organs and flesh will be filled in as you create characters and we set off into the void.

In short, this will be your game as much as mine...

Ah, well then. All me to introduce you to Fiona Enright, Dubliner by nature and Mechanical Engineer by trade; cool and calm, she subverts the stereotypical impression of red-heads. I'm eying System Operation, Tech Science, Security Systems, Physical Science and Computer Operation for her. I'll also think about picking up ranks in Vehicle Operation as well.

I also get to practice my Hiberno-English :)

I'll have the character done before the end of the weekend, if all goes according to plan.

Umm, do we have to use Squat? I hate it. It always messes up my skill points.

You can use WALTER though I never had any problem with SQUAT.

I've never used SQuAT before - I prefer the "glory" of working them out long hand. This should be... interesting.

Actually, I was asking if I could use a .doc file, I've got a ready template that's pretty nifty. Walter's fine if you absolutely need HTML though.

You do realize my character will hit on yours, don't you?

I like it in html. You can do word and export it in html.

As long as you two guys are ready to role play it out. The End had a inter character romance though it ended on a hearth break note (female character was in truth human/alien hybrid and ascended to next step in order to save the earth)
