Glass Angels, cyberpunk

The year is 2120 and the future is a grim place.
The states are gone, replaced by the rule of corpocracy, locked among themselves in eternal war. The skies are dark with pollution and oceans support less lives by each year.
Much of the world has become a sprawling cityscape. High atop their gleaming towers the rich and powerful loom over the run down cities below. Sealed away in their skyscrapers, the wealthy live their lives without a care, never to look upon the poor masses below them, they spend their entire lives among the clouds. Traveling from building to building via skycars or high speed transit systems, they go about their business.
In the run down cities below, the cities remained closed off from the outside world. Well armed police patrol the streets, 'protecting the interests of the civilians.' Corruption runs rampant, but the police are brutal in dealing with opposition. Travel is strictly controlled into and out of the cities; high walls and well guarded gates keep the populace contained.
The grid is a new realm to be conquered and information is the new nuclear arsenal. Those who can keep their secrets while exposing others thrive, even as they impose their will upon the masses. Most people live and die without questioning their leadership, docile sheep under their shepherds care.
The advances in medical, cybernetic and robotic technology as well as free flow of advanced weaponry on the black market have bred a new form of warriors that are secretly sanctioned to work for corporations. They are expendable meat that gets the job done. Hackers. Drone Runners. Cybernetic Samurai. Assassins. They come in all forms, but they are simply known as the Troubleshooters.

Checking for intrest for now. I plan to run this as classic cyberpunk game at PL6 with phb and dataware stuff and some custom weapons and cybernetics(cykosis free and PL8) .

A Cybernetic Samurai sounds cool...starting level, optional rules and desired posting rate?

How much of the campaign would occur on the grid? Does the tech support direct human interface and grid pilots or is it still a glorified internet?

I don't have desired posting rate, the more the better is my moto.

The tech supports neural linking, so there will be shadowforms and stuff. How much of it will actually be on the grid will depend on party composition.

So, any takers on this one?

I'd like to play it.

I know. I was wondering if anyone else was intrested since I'd like this one to be multyplayer game.

Haven't played a cyberpunk game since my friend's... well... Cyberpunk game several years ago. It's something I'd like try again.

What are you looking for, Ja? Thinking about maybe a tinkerer/hacker.

I am good with any kind of cyberpunk stereotype. Shoot me some bio ideas and we'll move on from there...

I'll try to populate this thread with new cybernetics and info on the Coast City (which will be starting point of the story) in the meantime...

I'd be stupid to pass this one up, ja. I'm in it, but I probably won't have anything until this weekend.
